Our Story
409 Custom Software started with Red Belt Gym, a management platform for martial arts schools that our team built and still runs. Our founder built it because he needed it: he was running a gym and juggling too many tools that didn't talk to each other.
Along the way we built the websites that go with the software, the automations that keep schools running, and the integrations that connect everything. In October 2026 we opened that same work to every kind of business here at home — contractors, offices, restaurants, churches, and anyone whose software isn't keeping up.
Meet the Founder
Brian "Barn Cat" Debes — Founder
Brian is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who earned his rank under 10th Planet founder Eddie Bravo. He founded 10th Planet Beaumont in 2014 and still teaches there. Running his own gym is what led him to start Red Belt Software — and now 409 Custom Software.
He brings the same approach to every project: learn how the business actually works, cut what doesn't help, and build something that keeps working long after launch. When you submit a form on this site, Brian is the one who calls you back.
